As well as Document L compliant glass, NCE Windows are registered installers of Pilkington Activ, the world's first self-cleaning glass, providing a truly low maintenance upvc window system.

In addition to Pilkington K Glass, NCE Windows can also provide the high performance ThermaGlas double glazed units with an ultra low U value (heat loss factor) of 1.1. These are available in clear or patterned varieties. Our units are excellent for reducing noise and providing increased thermal efficiency, giving lower energy bills and high security.

The sealed glass units in conjunction with our upvc window frames easily meet all the relevant building regulations for energy efficiency. Using warm edge spacer technology and high performance glass, the energy efficiency of the complete upvc window system can achieve an A rating in line with BFRC energy ratings.
